On the top of San Giuseppe hill stands Castello Malvezzi. This terrace, just a few minutes from the centre, overlooks the city and is Brescia’s belvedere. The fortified villa, surrounded by greenery, dates back to the 16th century and plays host to one the most renowned gourmet restaurants in the region.
An elegant and refined setting whose exterior is as severe as its interior is sumptuous. Inside, you’ll spot an abundance of frescoes, making it perfect for romantic and business dinners, corporate events and intimate or large receptions (seating up to about 300 guests in the adjacent dining areas and over 300 if you include outdoor seating).
In the kitchen, chef and patron Alberto Riboldi creates Mediterranean and international cuisine, without ever neglecting tradition. In addition to the à la carte options, the tasting menus offer a variety of interesting dishes to try. Their wine list is exceptionally varied, detailed and visually clear.
