Established in 1905, this was probably a post station on the road to Bergamo. It is located inside an 18th century building that skilful renovation has restored to its former glory. The traditional interiors are furnished with taste and a personal touch.
Family-run for over forty years, the restaurant is spread over two floors, rustic and elegant at the same time, with stone walls, vaulted ceilings, splendid exposed beams and a period fireplace.
The menu offers typical local specialities, with lake fish to the fore. The food is based on simple but intense flavours: baked tench and eel with polenta, perch fillets, beef in oil with polenta and homemade casoncelli, to be enjoyed in the company of Franciacorta’s best wines.
